1. Customary Law - is a common traditional rule that is applied to certain areas of society to create expectations that have to be followed by everyone.
Codified Law - when small laws are gone over and talk together; they are given one law name so that all of the minor laws can be controlled by just incorporating the new major law.

2. Restorative Justice is based on the need of the victims and the offenders that partialy excludes the judicial aspect of court trials.
Retributive Justice is when justice decides that it morally acceptable to use punishment as a form of justice against and offender.

3. Some examples of restorative justice programs include victim offender mediation, family group conferencing, and sentencing circles. The restorative justice process gives victims the chance to express their emotions about the harm that has been done to them. If a crime happens in a families home then they can get family group conferencing and talk about what has happened and what they feel about it.

a)If restorative justice is practiced for this case then Sam will be able to do crimes. If it is not used then he will be sentenced to something worser so that he would not be able to commit crimes anymore.

b) Sam - If Sam had restorative justice he wouldn't have to be sentenced to anything at the age of 15. If Sam had restorative justice he would be able to do crimes.

Mrs. McGuire - If Mrs.McGuire had victim offender mediation she could talk to Sam about how she feels about him breaking and entering into her home.

Sam's Parents - Sam's parents would be able to go and defend their son.

The school - The school would be worried that Sam was stealing money from them.

The Judge - The judge would lose money not going to court but also wouldn't have to deal with another case.
