1.My idea of justice is to keep people safe no matter where they live. I would prefer to live in the current system because of the rights and freedoms we have. The justice system tries to be fair to everyone. Canada makes the laws equal for everyone and has consistency in the punishments. The ancient system I choose was Hammurabi's trial by dual and trial by ordeal. It was a bad system of justice because it was not a fair way of justice because people heal differently so it is hard to tell if they are guilty or not. People need to have a way that will be consistent and fair.

3.The justice system is becoming sensitive to the multi-cultural population to make everyone feel equal and to be consistent in the laws. If our society did not have the justice system doing this it would be bad cause people would feel less equal and would feel they were getting treated different for being in their different cultures They would feel discriminated against which is what we are against and It is very important to do this so that everybody feels equal and does not feel discrimnated against. But if we make everyones law the same then the other people may think that they are being discriminated against because they are not having their cultural rules. I think if they have certain culture rules that are a different than ours rules then they should be able to practice those rules and laws as long as they don't hurt anybody else's rights and freedoms.
